hello my friend is looking to build a gaming pc and i was wondering what he could get for up to 400 pound but he is willing to go 10% above if it gives a good amount of extra performance, this price is just for the pc itself and no copy of windows as he already has that also how well would he be able to play games on it for this price thanks for any help

What games is he looking to play?

Yeh the 7850's have been going up in price recently which isnt a good sign :(

The 1GB versions are still like £120 but your looking at an extra £30-40 for the 2GB versions.

thanks guys didnt expect replies that fast so would the amd processor be better or the intel

The AMD has integrated graphics which means you do not need to shell out for an additional card. The APU gives superb results when used with quick RAM. This is also resolution dependant.

See what you think...

On your budget, I would suggest the A10, but hats off to Bacon, that i3 spec is nice!
