Well, tonight has cemented Lavezzi & Menez as awesome as awesome can be! 2 back to back cup wins, 8 match streak and felt nice to have an undefeated night as I couldn't buy a win last night for the most part!

Tempted to grab IF Balotelli, anyone used him at all?
 
Robben is pants at RM
Bought and sold him for 300k
Most I have lost on a player
His right foot is shocking, like bronze team shocking
Annoyingly he also has the FIFA trait of magically having the ball appear at his feet after losing it which I can't get used too - feels a bit chatty
I only tried him in 451 so he may be more effective at RF
 
He is 10x better at RF, and really wasted at RM, as you said, he has no right foot, but at RF he has a lot less need to use it, try him again if you ever use a RF/RW formation :)
 
Does anyone here like to indulge in a silver match sometimes? I'm average with my gold team, last finish was 1 point off title in div 1, but I get constantly hammered with my silver team. Anyone else like to set up a desperate squad?
 
Won div 1 again last night, that's twice in 6 days. After months of not even coming close to win it, thanks to the 5221 bpl/serie a hybrid team.

I bought Ibra last night. He is god awful, how the hell is he worth so much ?! He is going straight back on the Auction house. He work rates are just horrid. His shooting and heading don't seem to be that good. Reus is about 1000000 times better and far far cheaper.

When AI are controlling him, I've seen him literally just standing still not moving at all. The opponent could be running right past him and the AI would not move him at all.

I really do not know what to make of this game anymore. I'm getting really sick and tired of people scoring 1 goal in the first 5 mins (which seems to be happening to me a lot now) and then just playing keep away. The randomness of the first touch system is really starting to get to me. One game my players will have first touches like gods and everything plays as I would expect, then another game same players every touch bounces like 5 yards away and gives the ball away. Defender AI is the same, one min they play like gods the next they just part like the red sea. Goalkeepers are insanely inconsistent. As with the rest of this game. They can play like absolute gods one game and save every single thing that comes at them the next they just let everything in.

I think its time for a break for a bit :p :D I think my record recently has been about 7 draws and 5 losses maybe 1/2 wins (if I was lucky)

I don't know how you can fail with Robben, even at RM he's one of the best there, the only difference at RF he can score too. Surely having him there though you're cutting and not running to the byline to cross, you may as well stick a quick idiot there to do that.

I had him and Ribery and 41212 and they will still effective despite not scoring many.

What formation you using him in?
 
The randomness of this game drives me mad at times.
There's definitely scripting or some sort of hidden morale engine which decides if your players are going to play like poo or like gods. Hope fifa 14 sorts this out ;/

How much of a difference does 7 chemistry really make on players?

I had him in a 4321 with Menez and Lavezzi on his sides. I had more goals from Lavezzi than I did from Ibra. Maybe he needed a striker partner. I did swap every now and then to 41212. But Ibra just never seemed to be in a decent position to ever get a strike or poach.

I have him there in that formation and he is fantastic.

Does he score all the time, no, he is a medium/low player with 77 pace flanked by 2 85+ pace high/low players who are always going to be further up the pitch,me specially if you are someone who rushes, if you take your time and build up the attacks, he will be an amazing asset for you.

With him being lower pace you can't just treat him like Reus and chip through ball on for him to run on to and whizz past all defenders at ease.

Also don't forget 4321 striker is almost a false 9 CF, Ibra plays that role to a tee, as does Suarez, treat Ibra like he is going to float around the middle of the opponents half,waiting for the time to move up, similar to how he does when he plays for Sweden, and I think you'd enjoy him a lot more.

Maybe you just don't have the play style that suits him, not everyone likes everyone, and a price tag doesn't mean he will be 'for you'.
