Tried a brief 433 Brazil team with Neymar, Hulk & Leandroa Dimaio (sp?) and it worked very well, he's a beast at getting his head to the ball and pretty capable on the ground, worked pretty well! :)
 
Just thinking, I guess Ibra could play that role quite well, after all he is 6'4" and very strong, so he should definitely win his fair share of headers. I could put him in my 4-1-2-1-2 Ligue 1 team, with Remy next to him, and Lavezzi and Menez in LM and RM. The pace of Remy and strength/finishing of Ibra could be one hell of a partnership.

Hazard - Torres - IF Lamela
IF Witsel - Zanetti - Aimar
Criscito - Chiellini - IF Samuel - Jonathan
Buffon

Might change Zanetti to Cambiasso.
Zanetti only has 49 jumping which limits him a lot in the air :/ everything else about him is great in a defense minded CM role.

How come EA still haven't made a nice UT management app for tablets? You can use the EASFC app but it was designed for mobiles and on a 2048 x 1536 it looks like crap.

How come EA havn't got stable servers ? theres a lot of things EA could do but it requires money :p

Sure, if you'd like to share the custom tactic would be nice to see, 4321 is working well atm, but trying to squeeze some more out of it would be nice, just wish I could keep everything on balanced but keep the fullbacks back more without going on defensive.

I'l dig out the numbers this evening and post up the custom tactics I use :)

Shame that Reus will be a LW (most likely), although dependant on price. Shame though because if he knocks Ribery out of the Team, there isn't a good(fast) enough ST to replace him :D
 
Has anyone built a team around a tall target man rather than the sweaty forwards we normally all use? I was just thinking that most of the quicker CBs that most people use are fairly small compared to the bigger but slower CBs. Rather than trying to outpace them, I was wondering whether getting a tall target man (or two) and using proper wingers to get loads of crosses in the box would pay off or not.

I use Robinho and Palacio in a 4-3-3 for Cavani and he is a machine :cool:
 
I'm 1 point off making into Devision 1 in UT. I'm no that good at FIFA really, I play 'boring football' by that I mean I use space, timing and a lot of passing to work my way to a goal. Im suprised how easy I managed to move up divisions and winning the titles 2 times.

Maybe I'm lucky and get not so good players online? The hardest game was a guy who had all superstar players and it was obvious he didn't know how to use them to their potentials instead just doing through balls all the time. But because his players had better stats they overpowered mine,

My understanding is that players have to be in your active squad and be unused whilst playing a game in order for them to regain any fitness, so I can understand having your effective "first team" in the 12 subs and reserve slots while you play your fitness team will make them recover(?)

What I'm a bit fuzzy with is how to have your fitness team recover - as far as I can see, the only way to do this is to have them in the 12 slots in your main squad, meaning you can't bring on any first team subs!?!?!?

Or am I misunderstanding things???

Nope, that's exactly what I do. I effectively have 2 first teams as I love both equally - a 4-3-2-1 Hybrid, and a 4-3-1-2 Serie A team. The entire Serie A team is on the bench for the Hybrid team, and vice versa. I never bring on subs during the game unless someone gets an injury and doesn't shake it off (very rare I find). I can play 3-4 games with one team, then play another with the other team, and whichever team is on the bench regains 10 fitness per player, per match they're unused.

So if you are playing 3-4 games before swapping to your other team, that would mean you are regularly starting a game with players that have sub-80 fitness - does this have an impact on the performance of the player or does it just make them more susceptible to injury or something?

This is indeed correct, theoritically by doing things this way you are only allowed to use one sub. For each team i build i make sure i have another team to for the bench to allow for fitness.

So at the moment i have 2 4-3-3 teams one BPL the other being brazilian. When my BPL team is in use, the whole of my brazil team is on the bench bar one additional player. I also rotate this for my Spanish and Serie A side too. I will soon be building a 5th squad which means i would probably have to drop my brazil squad from the bench (temporary dormant) for my new hybrid side. I would sell the brazil team but i love using Neymar :D

Here is my current BPL squad and I've got around 280k coins left - can anyone spec me a fun to use La Liga team (ideally in the same 41212 formation) so I can alternate between the two and create a hybrid, within that budget??

Nope, my players only lost 2-3 fitness per game, so whenever at least one player in the team is down to sub 90 fitness, I change to the other team. I never let anyone start with lower than say 90 fitness.
