A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 10-week-old baby girl

Police were told of the child's injuries by staff at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on Sunday.

A 25-year-old man has been charged with four counts of serious sexual assault. A 21-year-old woman is accused of causing or allowing harm to a child.

The pair, both of Fleetwood, appeared Blackpool Magistrates Court where they were remanded in custody. They are due at Preston Crown Court next month.

The man is also charged with one count of engaging in sexual activity in front of a child.

There are 60 million people in the UK and a handful of scum. With todays 24 hour news needing to be filled they just report any bad stuff possible. If the news reported good things that happened they would far outweigh the bad.

Wonder how much evidence there is that the mother if that is who the female is had knowledge of any abuse going on. Maybe its my naive side hoping a young mother couldn't allow something like that to happen to her new born child.

Mind boggling isn't it? They exist unfortunately. Lucky for the child it has been caught onto so early, probably be the best thing she will never know

Going from the age if he is originally from Fleetwood then I might know of him. There are some real scum there so it doesn't really surprise me.
