Gaming Build Dilema

I have a slight dilema on my hands. I was waiting for Haswell to be released until I build a whole new system mostly for high end gaming and a little photoshop work. However Im to spend what money I have now, or the money is going to go elsewhere. (unless I can talk the missus into waiting for some decorating to be done until summer) :p
At the moment I have around £1600 budget but I can push it to 1800 possibly 2000. What would you guys recommend I do, try and wait this out somehow which might be hard, or build?
I would be looking at a full tower build only, no need for monitor (note) its native res is (1920x1200) Also no need for speakers, mouse or keyboard.
What I would like is a full tower with large window, SSD, AIO cooler, full modular PSU (I like the XFX), good branded MOBO with great overclocking capability.

Thank you in advance

I would like to wait but its risky, unless I can find somewhere to hide the money, plus I dont really want to go down the route just to sell 4 months later. Its bad timing to be building with new architecture around the corner. Would 2011 socket be worth looking at? Im behind on 4 years worth of technology. Decisions, decisions.

i'd also wait, it's not hard to hide money, i do it a lot :)

and my gf can sniff it from miles away. but there's always places she won't go, or can't reach.

lol hiding money from the women, classic.

Simple, go to the nearest jewelry store, buy a £150 decent looking "something" and claim it cost the £1600 you had put away, profit?

Really though, if you are 4 years behind in tech anything is going to be an upgrade so splashing £1k or 1.5 now is going to benefit you for another 2-3 years EASILY. The question is, is it worth waiting for haswell because it will most likely be a marginal increase in performance, say over an overclocked i7 3770k or an i5 3570k. Currently like the i7 920 is still capable of gaming on the level of a 2500k and is ancient lol.

At this moment Im running a i7 920 however a bad overclocker, CO stepping if I remember right with a GTX 460. Its showing its age :( Generally I used to update components every so often, but since the last build I couldnt do it financially until now. Would just getting a graphics card now, to help with gaming until haswell be worthwhile? In the mean time I try and find a way to stop house improvement commencing :D

Just been told im to build now or face decorating... lol. So I got thinking, would building around the 2011 socket be worthwhile for gaming? It would allow me to upgrade in the near future to IVY-E and could SLI with whatever card I get to date.

What I need (with suggestions):-

Case (I Like large cases with window, the Corsair 800D comes to mind)
PSU XTX 1050 Black Edition
CPU Intel 2011 3820
SSD Samsung 840 Pro 250gb
MOBO
RAM
GFX Card
CPU cooler Corsair H100i
OS (Windows 8) ?

I have £1600 to spend to date, but like I said before, I can push it a couple hundred more. Which parts do you guys recommend, Im sure you can save me some pennies aswell.

I would go around the 2011, I doubt they will release another chip set for the new processors, I've just got a 1155 3770k system (as rock extreme Z77, Palit 670gtx) but if the gain in the summer is great I would think about selling,

I can't see much more performance gain without going to improve res, but I will play nearly all games on top settings now!!??
