Mate changing his name by deed pole...

It's a pain in the ass trust. I legally changed my name to Gordon Freeman for well over a year.
They say it doesn't effect your credit rating but so many systems can only check one name per person and I started failing credit checks where I would have passed before. In the end I changed it back, partly to get a mortgage and partly so I could have the same surname as my brothers again.

plus it was like £100odd quid if I recall to change the passport, driving license change was free though.
 
just change his middle name to Danger. That way, when challenged to do things, he can say "because Danger's my middle name" and produce the legal identification to prove it.
