Think I'll pick one of these up as an alternative to my Galaxy S2, and my first foray into windows mobile since my Orange SPV M600 running winmo 5.0!

Absolutely loving this Nokia, had it a few weeks now. Not sure how I managed without it. It really is like taking your PC around with you, thanks to Windows 8.
Battery life is a big surprise, can go a few days if not used much.
Question about a weather app, I use the met office one, but doesnt seem to update unless i open it. When i look at background task is says its blocked, not sure how to unblock it?
Then music, should i stick with the default windows music player or is there a much better alternative? Seems fine apart from album art not showing sometimes.

There will probably be some setting in the application, but under the background task bit if you click on the app there is a tick box to re-enable background activities when you net open the app.
Personally I find the default music player fine...
You can unlock the phone from O2
My advice - get the phone from O2
edit - i use O2, and it runs Windows 8

OK - how do you go about unlocking it? Do O2 charge for that, and if so how much? Any idea?
Because it offers gig search and mix radio.

My Shiny orange one came today, it's one of those two tone ones, yellow underneath with a magenta outer, they dont seperate though.

Is anyone here using theirs with a mSD card with music etc on it?..how does that work?
Im thinking how good a purchase one of these would be just for the car, Audio vis Bluetooth no sim in it, that and getting all the Nokia Drive etc would make this deal pretty damn sweet.
