5/6hrs - I like to get up and get on with my day. I normally go to bed early and get up early.

On weekends I treat myself to a bit of a lie in so 7/8hrs - but if I'm not asleep I find being in bed makes me restless and I have to get up and do something else I go bonkers.

The actual average I'd say was 6, but it varies between weekdays and weekends.

Weekdays I get 4-7 hours, weekends probably 8-9 hours.

I don't think I could physically sleep 10hrs. I just try and follow my circadian rhythm as best I can. The 5/6hrs I do get are deep good quality sleep.

If I exercise that day I can usually sleep for 8-10 hours, if I don't then I seem to have too much energy to go to bed early and sometimes I'll not fall asleep till 5-6 oclock. I've always been aware how important sleep is for your body to repair itself. Getting 10+ hours sleep is one of the most beneficial parts to a bodybuilder/athletes training.

I get 6-7 hours and sometimes less. I'll get over 8 if I'm very luck or really tired which doesn't happen very often.

I'm hibernating like a bear at the moment and struggle if I don't get my 9. Really can't deal with cold weather and working evenings at the moment (need a daytime job more than anything else).

Usually need at least 7 to function properly though, any less and I am back to napping or gibbering like an idiot in the corner. Has to also be littered with one sleep a week where I get about 3 hours, usually based on really high alcohol intake or a criminal lack of exercise.
