If you remember correctly people were ripping into the pricing of the GTX 580 at the same time so don't give me that anti-AMD crap. As Rroff says this forum has never been pro-NVidia as much as it is Pro-AMD at the moment.

It was during the G92 days and no wonder ,the HD2000 and HD3000 series were not that great.

Also,the GTX460 and many of the GTX500 series cards were very popular recommendations here.

Personal attacks? Are you for real? People were criticising HD 7000 pricing yes, did I deny that? No. Stop turning things around here, the negativity on this forum towards NVidia's pricing is far worse than what HD 7000 series got. It's not just pricing, it's PhysX, CUDA whatever people mention some AMD lover comes along and slates it.

Really? So the most recent game on there, Crysis 3, 690 min 10fps, titan 24fps...
All the graphs are very similar, please show me where the 690 "smashes" the titan

Where the 690 does win it's around 10-15% faster

In fact the titan has higher minimum framerates in nearly everything... bf3 is the only one that swings in the 690's favour in a big way

I wouldn't mind seeing benchmarks comparing 2 titans against 2 gtx 690s over 3 screens at 2560 x 1600 on each screen.

Folks should really forget the pricing - you can either afford a certain GPU or you cannot. If you cannot, boo hoo.

I know one chap who is getting them for rendering work, with 3DS Max IIRC.

The 6GB framebuffer will be very useful indeed!

No,its more a case you trying to indicate that I am something that I am not.

If I was so against Nvidia,why the heck would I have been updating rumour threads on the GK104 with dozens of posts?? I even posted some info on the various GK110 threads.

I have posted stuff about Intel CPUs,AMD CPUs,etc.

So,it annoys me when people,especially someone who purports to know my posting history make silly accusations ,which they are.

In the end I am just going to avoid this silly tribalism which it is.

No the fact is you went on some major rant twisting what my original point was about people should stop making sly insults towards those who've bought one. You started going on about how expensive it is blah, blah, blah basically everything that's already been brought up 100 times before in this thread. You're the one who got defensive first, I was merely pointing out that it's not right labelling someone just because they've purchased something THEY WANT.
