Lifting on 2 posters

It isn't. It's just weird that you never mentioned it. What were we supposed to think other than it was some garage you wanted us to criticise for not lifting a car right?

if he'd mentioned it was his he'd have been slated for doing it wrong, or paying too much. This is how ocuk works:p

Looks normal to me. Centre of mavity is usually around the front of the seats, so perfectly OK.

That said though our Maha 2.5t 2 poster doesn't like my disco on it. :D Those rear arms bend a bit.

In fact, I find the whole unit thing a bit odd unless you have a fleet of other cars you also didn't bother to mention.

The kind of person who drives an LS is not typically the kind who wants to get their hands dirty turning spanners on it, certainly not enough to justify a unit. The car could never need enough work anyway, it's about as reliable as they get.
The way I see it, a unit like this would be appealing to someone who owns an old shed which breaks all the time (that's me) and wants to work indoors but doesn't have a home with a garage. If you could afford a unit then you could afford to just pay someone to fix it for you??

Maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't make sense.

Maybe the reason he has enough money to have a unit is because he doesn't pay monkeys to do something he can do himself for free.. ;)
Makes perfect sense to me.

I'm toying with the idea of a two poster myself, my unit will be mainly used for other purposes than cars but it'll be nice to have there & not much hassle really once it's installed.

Can't see what's that weird about it tbh!. I'm sure friends/family could make good use of it too.

'whatever you want' is a lot easier said than done, in my experience.
I'm not trying to put a downer on it, I think it would be great to have a unit with a lift.
I do all the work on my cars near enough, but plenty if times I've been half way into a complicated job thinking to myself this is ****ing miserable, why didn't I palm this off on someone else. That usually happens when working in the freezing cold though, summer isn't too bad I guess. I don't enjoy it though, and the only reason I do things myself is because I can and I can usually save enough on each job to do something fun like a trackday.

When I give up on a job, I just walk off and tackle the job the next day or later on after I've rage quitted...

I have more than 1 car so it's easy to rage quit.

I don't rage quit. I don't even have the quit app.

The Megane is having a timing belt and water pump the brakes serviced this weekend. I lift would make even something like that easier

Would love a lift would make loads of jobs easier, we thought about putting one in, however it would mean redesigning one side of the garage loft so quickly decided to shelved the idea.

Another option is a pit plus couple of foot raised 4 wheel ramp.

Things aren't quite so miserable when you are in a garage, up on a ramp with the heaters on, the music playing an the kettle boiling in the corner. ;)
