Biro pens ??

Over the years Ive bought probably 100s of black and blue biro pens mainly from Whs**th and Tes*o they work for a little while and then stop even though theres lots of ink left in them.They weren't cheap ones maybe middle of the range aswell. How do you get biros working again once they have stopped Ive tried drawing circles, shaking them nothing seems to work ?

Tesco and WH Smiths aren't competitors of ocuk so you can say their names...

Also biros only have a limited operating range for the ink to flow out, are you left handed or trying to hold the pen at too much of a slant? That usually is why the ink isn't flowing properly.

if there's a little hole in the side of the case, try blowing in it. Or buy Bic

Just buy a Parker ball point pen. Mine lasted me years and was nicer to write with.

Right handed never noticed much of a writing slant.


The thing is most of the biros I got are branded Bic.

This was on TV recently. You soak the nibs overnight in a blended up mixture of olive oil, grated Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, pepper, and almonds if you like them. Serve with toasted pine nuts and some al dente penne.

Just stick the nib under a lighter flame for a second, Not to much though or you'll melt the pen rather than the clogged up ink.

Seriously though, it does work, it cleans the ball and I find the pen works great afterwards. Just don't draw a massive line on your tongue.

You went too far with that. Could have had OP soaking his pens in just olive oil and sea salt

You have to draw up up down down left right left right b a

Put the pen in hot but not boiling water, the ink will move down to the nib. it will keep on working.

WHat are you using them for?

I always prefer a Pilot Gel pen.
