Any recommendations? She is 60+ and not too tech savvy.

Currently shes got a samsung galaxy Y which she likes but its too small, the buttons are too difficult to push/see etc. Ive tried it myself and the touch sensitivity on the screen is a bit crappy. She said she liked using my galaxy SII though since it has a bigger screen and is easier to use compared to the Y.

Im not sure though, what do you guys think? Maybe a galaxy note 1? I was thinking dumb phone would be the best but im not sure she wants to go back to one.

There is a mobile phone section! Ask the phone gremlins in there :p.

iPhones aren't complicated for what it's worth, my mum and dad are both using the 4s and my mum even has an iPad now!

orange montecarlo have a pretty big screen (4.3inches) and they are easy to unlock to other networks.

I think I paid £90 for mine about a year ago

My Mum also had a Galaxy Y which she liked but it was too small, once I got my Nexus 4 I gave her my S2 and she really loves it. I would get her that or a Note or an iPhone. My Mum is 55 but she is long sighted which means objects that are closer lose focus and so on but she finds the S2 screen quiet good, the Note I would be better as its bigger.
