Video and info also up at http://www.laferrari.com/en/

Got to hand it to Ferrari that they certainly haven't rested on their laurels for this and they've probably done about the best synchronised information release across multiple formats i.e. motorshow & web than any company, car or otherwise, that I can remember.

Funny how when the veyron was released with its £1mil+ tag it just seemed to hilariously expensive and yet this (and all the other new gen hypercars) seems justifiable for its pricetag.

Looks horrible :(

They may as well just change their name to "the red lambo co"

*EDIT*

Wait, LaFerrari is its actual name and not just a joke nickname because it looks more like a Lambo than a Ferrari? O.o

Really don't care about the name. They could call it "LaRedPaedoCar" and i'd still want it. Looks beautiful.

Aerodynamically it looks wilder than I expected it to. You gotta like those air scoops built into the doors that you can see in the 2nd picture.

I'm more of a McLaren fan so am hoping that the P1 will edge it out on Top Gear, but if they get a showdown of those together in the next season, that will be quite an episode.

I get the impression that the P1 is smaller and more neatly packaged, but that's from the photos alone so that might not be right. I also wouldn't be surprised if they tweak another 50bhp out of the P1.

Finally, anyone else notice that the McLaren tub requires no roof structure, whereas the Ferrari does? McLaren must be happy about that.

I like it, but I a not a huge fan of modern super cars. I prefer the aesthetics of the car's Ferrari made in the 50's and 60's. I totally understand why modern cars look like they do, its a combination of technology and functional design, driven by performance. But given the choice, I would rather have a classic.

But I never will have the choice, so hey, it looks great! :P Love the front, best angle imo.
