How much is it worth?

Hi,

Firstly to the Mods I am not trying to sell my PC but just trying to get a feel of how much i should be selling my PC for should I wish to in the future.

Bought a gaming PC a year or so ago, starting to hate the thing. Its big its loud and due to work i just don't use it.

Can somebody please give me there best guess what its worth.

Intel Core i5 2500K 3.40GHz @ 4.40GHz

Can't remember which motherboard, a Gigabyte Z68 something.

Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz

OcUK GeForce GTX 580 1536MB GDDR5

OCZ Agility 3 120GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive

Windows 8 bit

If I do decide to get rid, what should I ask for it?

2nd hand pc bits do go for peanuts it seems.

He won't have access to the MM, you need 1000 posts minimum.

It's decent spec, could always change the case to something smaller & add quiter fans?
Price range, i'd say it's worth at least £450+, I'm sure a GTX 580 and 2500k is still worth something.
 
I'd say around the £400 mark. wee brother just sold a next to brand new pc for £475 with higher specs than this. maybe best to split it if you are going to sell as TheReaperGuy said, the 580 and 2500k will get you the bulk of your money.
 
It's so crazy how the value can drop so much.

But that's tech I suppose. That's one good thing about Macs, the resale value. I just don't get on with OSX.
 
Sounds like a nightmare haha, seems like you could do with some quieter case fans, other culprits could be GPU/PSU fans as well..not hard to have a quiet system really
