Hi Guys,

Looking at a building a new high end gaming rig.

I have almost decided on the components but had a few questions I thought id put to the guru's that are the ocuk forum members.

Basically I already have a Silvertone Fortress FT01 case had had been looking at adding 2 x EVGA GTX 670 FTW 2 Sig cards along with an i5 3570K, Asus P877-V Mobo and 8 GB Corsair 1600MHZ LP Ram.

I was wondering what your recommendation would be for a CPU cooler, I had looked at this:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-005-BQ&groupid=701&catid=2330&subcat=2340

Firstly I was wondering if it would fit, looking at the height seems it should be ok, but secondly should I consider something else? Could I fit one of those Corsair liquid cooolers for example if they provide better cooling? As I understand it it would take the place of the existing rear 120mm fan

I've always been tempted to have a proper water cooling setup but bearing in mind the case I have would this even be possible? I see OCUK have kits for those too.

I know this is a lot of questions but any insight/ideas would be appreciated.

One last thing if anyone has any comments about my main specs, feel free to comment. I will be gaming at 1920x1200 but wanted some future proofimng and have always wanted to give SLI a try, I also think Titan is a stretch too far for me also considering current prices. I also want to go back to Nvidia.

Thanks.

Is this system going to be a replacement for your build in your signature? Because if so, youd be as well holding onto what youve got and see what intels haswell offers. I made the switch from a 920 @4.2ghz, same board you have and 12gb of ram to the cpu in sig. More of a sidegrade tbh. Regarding coolers, the k2 fits both the p6t deluxe and the p8 z77 fine if you have low profile ram. Ive used it in both.
