How much per year does your car cost you ?

Alfa 147 2.0 TS
~£500 a year in depreciation
~£1200 year in servicing/maintenance and random things going wrong
~£550 insurance
~£240 tax

cost of car: £47 per month in tax (company car) = £564 per annum = £2,256 over 4 year lease

TAX : £0 road tax (paid by company) - taxed on car as BIK as above

Insurance: £0 (paid by company)

Petrol: All business fuel covered (company fuel card), personal contribution £40 per month average for personal mileage = £480 per annum of £1,920 over 4 year lease

Maintenance Costs: £0 (paid by company)

Cleaning Stuff: £0 (fuel card lets me get car washed etc)

Total works out at £87 per month, £1,044 per annum and £4,176 over 4 year lease. Fuel contribution fluctuates slightly but most I ever pay is £60 (rationalised every 3 months).

Do you have the option of taking the car allowance instead though?

In the last 12 months:
€212.72 on a new thermostat
€306 on 2 rear tyres
€750 tax
€1020 on insurance
€2200 on fuel

So repairing the car, almost nothing at all in the last 12 months which is brilliant :)

Hmmm.... company car, so no fuel, road tax, insurance, services, rubber, etc.

Trade up £120/month
Tax £120/month

Salary sacrificed... £6,400, ~£3,500 after tax.

£6,400 a year. 3 year lease. £19,200. Then it goes back.

Bargain, lol

Only had the car (alfa mito 1.4tb 155) since end of July so some of these are incomplete.
