*** Images of Items or Services Purchased in March 2013 ***

I like to see what people have bought, whether I contribute to the thread or not. I also see stuff that I didn't know I wanted, then buy it :-P

Then would it not be easier to have one big thread, pictures only and items named in the title?

You could flick through and just look at pictures.

Also; I'm confused as to why there isn't a 'post a picture of the last item purchased' thread instead of monthly ones with a rule about only posting pictures you have taken and only posting when you have a picture.

Because we can all google and look at product photos and lets face it, they are taken to make things prettier than they are, no sense of scale and not very interesting.

Photos of real products are 100 times more interesting than looking at the Argos Catalogue.

No, as you can't ask question if you have to post a pic. Like others I have purchased several things because of these threads. There is already a rule about only posting your own images.

I think this is a nice thread so you can see what people are buying, as long as it's mostly related to computers/technology/gaming/etc, I don't see much point in posting pictures of any old tat.

I certainly don't see a problem with it. I also agree with Raymond re: 'real' pictures vs stock pictures.

I love this thread and check it on a regular basis. I never post but that's prob because I never buy anything very interesting and I can never be arsed with the faff.

In the past I have bought things that other people posted pictures of.

You could, um, post a picture of something you purchased and err ask them in that post, like the post a random picture from reddit thread does.

He thinks that you should still have to take your own photo, just that instead of the monthly threads there should just be a continuous one where you can only post pictures you took, and every post has to contain a picture :).

So you end up with lots of pictures of mundane crap, People don't buy stuff every minute, just in case they have a question. Great idea, NOT.

Old mug cracked and the OcUK mugs aren't wide enough for a large biscuit dipping.

Yes .

I might need to revise that :p, but why have a different thread each month, have one for item last purchased.
