Is it just me, or is there a distinct prominence of “middle-classery” on this forum?
Then would it not be easier to have one big thread, pictures only and items named in the title?
You could flick through and just look at pictures.
Also; I'm confused as to why there isn't a 'post a picture of the last item purchased' thread instead of monthly ones with a rule about only posting pictures you have taken and only posting when you have a picture.

There is a trust function.
Because we can all google and look at product photos and lets face it, they are taken to make things prettier than they are, no sense of scale and not very interesting.
Photos of real products are 100 times more interesting than looking at the Argos Catalogue.
You could, um, post a picture of something you purchased and err ask them in that post, like the post a random picture from reddit thread does.
