*** League of Legends ***

Bloody hell there are some seriously nasty whingers from my experience so far.

Only recently started this game, no real difference in mechanics then other Dota clones.

All going well, then a Janna player died to a gank, next thing you know another guy starts wading in on the Verbal abuse. I politely asked the abuser to take it easy, next thing this idiot starts ranting about raping my mother and slitting her throat!!

I actually stepped away from the computer after the remarks.

I had a polite word in the chat after the match, he went on to apologise. Yet, the damage is done at the time. He clearly wasn't fazed by what he said.


I'm far from thin-skinned but really raping and killing someones parent is fair conversation in a 'game' these days?

What happened to plain old simple 'noob'?

I wouldn't mind but it wasn't even pvp/ranked..just co-op ;-)

So, should I be expecting this kind of behaviour from LoL players as a regular thing?
Tell me now, and I'll uninstall ;-)
 
I've just got back into this and wow is the community bad, Always kids or adults acting like kids moaning in chat @ each other or cross team calling each other bad etc and hurr durr your k/d is 2/0/11.

Luckily I don't type **** unless its helping the team.

Yolo Q is hit and miss, most days a clear miss.

If you want to progress, you need to carry so bloody hard that the other team quiver in fear. Stupid effin' trolls

Some of the players in the game are horrible, i killed a VI the other night and they called me a " uganda aids n***** <-- n word "

Try to play with a group of friends, it greatly increases the fun of the game, and you won't be playing with trolls, as for solo que, its highly likely you'll come across atleast 1 troll, sometimes you get lucky and get decent people.

I won't lie, it's fairly common to have verbal abuse thrown at you. I've never had anything anywhere near that bad said to me though. They usually stick to calling you a noob and telling you to uninstall.

noob/uninstall/idiot I can deal with, that's par for the course online.

But on a serious note, if someone had the audacity to say that to my face , I'd floor them. ;-)

I'm gonna give it another crack, if it looks to be consistent behaviour then ill happlily uninstall and go play Tetris ;-)

I have well around 3000 games played and I've probably only encountered people that are that abusive maybe 10 times at most.
 
I got abuse more than 10 times the first day i played the game.....

Not that it bothers me but there is plenty of it out there.

Well yeah I get abuse fairly often but it's very rare that they go so far as to threaten to rape my mother, It's definitely worse at lower levels though.

It was me, i can't view the link from my works pc but i'll check it later, gonna stick to some upbeat drum and base, or something along those lines, been doing a lot of research into making good montages etc and it seems 90% of the videos have D 'n' B opposed to metal, also, im going to upload epic plays, last video was just thrown together, but i think it was you that gave me the feedback last time? :)
