My current Premiership Only team here Thinking of getting a better LB as even though BA-E isn't too bad, he's just not all that. Debuchy was put in place of Captain Monobrow Bosingwa as that monobrow was just...wow...and it was annoying me.

Other than that, I can serious recommend Tim Howard as a cheap keeper and Carrick as a cheap CM. Going to try Fellaini instead of Carrick and Vorm instead of Howard...

I'm playing 5-2-1-2 http://www.ea.com/uk/football/fifa-ultimate-team/show-off#eVbzoafWUfV:360 with Marcelo (was Pedro) at LWB, Pedro was a LM and so had rubbish CHM.

New question for you guys, I have Jesus Navas and would like to shoehorn him into that side somehow, possibly as a CM. He's RW atm, so was wondering if it's possible (or worth it) to convert a RW to a RM, then maybe there is a RM to CM card?

I agree, I had a belting record on 12 and felt like I had a good consistency. If I got beat it was generally down to the other player being better and I would happily accept that.

Games in 13 can change and go completely against you so easily. It happened occasionally in 12 but is ridiculous in 13.

If you want Navas then maybe play 442 instead? Plenty of CMs around :confused:

Pretty much the way everyone feels I think, my record in 12 was absolutely ridiculous, in 13 it's pretty meh.
 
Sad times, after 3 months it's time to say goodbye. I can't let Robben or Reus go but Ribery is just sat on the bench so might as well cash in.

Fair point, I could give 442 a go. Change in formation is quite a big dealing this mode though isn't it! May be easier to sell navas and look for a faster upgrade with better dribbling than xabi Alonso

Why not try 5221? You could have Pedro at LF and Navas at RF while retaining 5 at the back. Though, in my opinion, there's better LFs - Muniain/David Villa.

Peanuts - who are you playing at LF instead of Ribery?

Hardly! My team is just the Zenit side minus Hulk because I don't like him. Got a few Russian silvers to pad the squad out and that's it. The only amazeballs team I've had was some Serie A thing a few months ago with Chiellini and Ogbonna at the back, since then I've just been using Eredivisie and RPL squads.

your exploiting the handicap system, makes the game a lot easier, i know because i do it myself with a 4.5 star team against 5 star teams, but your team is most likely to be 4 star or less making it even easier.
 
LOL just spent 70 mins of a match trying to get Giovinco to do a damn McGeady spin, getting pretty frustrated with myself in the process... turns out he's only 3*. Whoops :(

How can someone go from 5* to 3* in a year? :p

the same way kaka went from best player in the world to not even getting in the starting 11.

the same way torres went from scoring every other game to scoring once every other month.

EA on the other hand have made some very poor stat decisions year on year, i remember when adriano (the inter milan one) was the best striker in the game, they made some rather crazy decisions when it came to inter, every year they always had some new player who was just simply a lot better than what they should have been. it led me to believe that someone high up within EA or in the development team was a big Inter fan. When adriano left they then had another striker who was unbelievable who nobody had ever heard of. I can't remember his name and he never made it big in real life.
 
could anyone spec me a team with Robben and Neymar with a budget of ~400k on xbox :)
