That does seem a pretty damn good sale, although why they had to waint until 4 days after i'd thought id got a good deal paying £30 for battlefield 3 premium edition

Well it's done the trick for me, just bought, Crysis 3, Dead space 1,2, and 3, the mass effect trillogy, and the complete Comand and Conquer collection

I think i'll be downloading stuff for quite a while

The game content as it was released is all free to play, it's a pretty generous model tbh (a bit too generous, I can't see them making a lot on cosmetics).

It's well worth a look - it certainly not without its flaws, but the setting is very different and the acting and writing is superb.

I've just had a look at the Secret World forums and there aren't any of the usual posts on an MMO's forums complaining about the state of the game. Just lots of posts saying how surprised they are at how enjoyable the game is. Now, this could be because all the people who tried it and didn't enjoy it left ages ago never to return, but it was nice seeing the vocal minority for the game was positive rather than negative.
I also found out that it doesn't matter which server you pick as you can group across servers anyway. Gonna try it and if it's crap it's only £12.50 gone.
