Hi All

Probably going to go 680 SLI soonish, I take it my PSU will have to be changed?

I did buy a seasonic x850 not long ago but sent it back as it was making high pitched sound, just bad luck with that one?

any recommendations? Would like it to be quiet obviously and semi/full modular.

and cheap as possible:D

Thanks

Yep 850W is plenty, and the Seasonic one is under rated so it can push out more than 850W on its 12V rail.

It's around the same price as the Corsair he's going for and it offers future proofing if he every goes tri sli or whatever...

Thanks mate , but dont think I will ever go tri Sli, having 2 Cards is a massive step for me in itself!

Can't go wrong with xfx to be honest. I have just bought the 750W pro and it's a great psu. Has the nice flat ribbon cables too.

Hmmm this could save me some cash also, any other Thoughts on this? Its semi modular is it not?, but that doesn't bother me tbh.

I have that exact PSU and it's great, I did a lot of research before buying as my last PSU (Coolermaster) went bang. That XFX model if I recall correctly achieved one of the highest reviews ever from jonnyguru.
