Will an OC'ed GTX670 play BF3 on Ultra with a constant 60FPS at 1920x1080?

I don't think I've seen sub 60fps with my latest clocks:

2500k at 4.6ghz
7950 at 1050/1400

But I'm only running 2xMSAA and might have turned down HBAO.

Yes 4xmsaa every setting maxed out in game and in nvidia control panel everything set highest qaulity.

Needs a lot of cpu power to run smoothly without drops.

Drivers have improved a lot since the game was released.

mine was an overclocked msi 660ti pe with 3570k @ 4.7 and my friend who has i5 2500k @4.6 and an overclocked asus 660ti also gets constant 60 max settins.

The 660ti were use are running custum bios with extra voltage.

Absolutely NO CHANCE you are getting Min of 60FPS on a 660ti on ultra everything and 4xMSAA.

It's not even possible on a 680. I can average higher but there is no way you could ask for 60FPS constant on a lesser card.

Short Answer - No

Long Answer - It will be playable, but you will not be able to lock out 60FPS and I would recommend lowering some settings to maintain a higher average FPS with higher Minimums.

Agreed, especially not with the maxed nvidia control panel settings as well. Unless he's playing on like 1366x768 resolution.

I have no reason to lie,

What cpu you using? and what drivers?

Used 10s of iterations of drivers.

2600k @ 4.6GHz. See absolutely no CPU usage on BF3, it's not that CPU dependant.

I am not saying you are lying, you just need to understand you are not locking out a minimum of 60FPS. It cannot be done on a 680, let alone a 660ti.

If your seeing no cpu usage something must be wrong.

Even with my 3570k @ 4.8ghz it still uses 70% cpu.

660ti seems to match a GTX580 and surpass it when fully overclocked... I never had any problems running BF3 on a 580 at 1920x1080 so it doesn't seem that far fetched that it would be at or around 60FPS most of the time

the couple of multiplayer benches I can find online have mins a bit lower than that review above on stock, but close to it when overclocked

Dont know if anyones said but maybe best to go slighty better? i know its a good card n all but the if you like battlefield your probs going to get bf4? That looks really graphic hungry

I have to be fair Imginy and not saying you are telling fibs but I do find it very hard to believe that with max settings, you are not dropping below 60fps on a 660ti. I couldn't achieve that with a 680 at 1350Mhz core and a 3930K at 5Ghz.

Edit:

Maybe drivers have improved that much? I know performance was shooting up all over games, so maybe this is one of those instances.
