Bioshock 3 - Infinite

I buckled and bought the game with 6 hours left for pre-ordering. Stuck doing 11 hour shifts at work till the weekend, so probably wont get a chance to play it until then.

I need to learn not to buy salts from vending machines, as every time without fail, after I have bought one, I find one laying on the floor!

I am loving this game. Definitely the best I have played since Dishonored(which was the best I had played in years!)...not sure I could pick between them at this stage. Wish I didn't have to work tonight.

At the start did anyone else

Try walking through the guys blood in the lighthouse to see if you made footprints or something? :p

I was sad that nothing happened

Finished the game.

I'd recommend everybody to play on easy. I started playthrough on hard at first but then got tired of being out of ammo, salts and enemies who takes 10 shots to the head to die. Changed the game to easy and the combat became fun and exciting, no longer is it tedious task of unloading full magazine at a single target. With easy mode vigors come into big play, I rarely ran out of salt on easy and would always have enough to use vigors. So I heavily advise easy mode, makes combat hell of a lot more dynamic and fun.

Visuals and art design were fantastic, story meh, I liked how they presented ending but not the story nor ending, don't like those convoluted plotholes.

It's a nice game, if it wasn't for absolutely amazing art design and atmosphere I'd give it a solid 6, but the atmosphere really pushes the enjoyment of the game.

So playing on easy made the game easy lol Sure you going to have more ammo etc its easy.
I playing on Hard and so far really enjoying the game. You might run out of ammo but If you look around they is loads of money for buying ammo etc.

I have died couple times but playing on hard is so better than playing on easy and having no challenge.

Playing on easy you might as well save your money and watch youtube play-through :D

Are you upgrading your guns and vigors? I would never tell people to play this on Easy, normal was too easy imo :p

Hard is frustrating me so im going to normal. I like my games easy :D. Hate dying and reloading the same things over and over again.

hard was ok, but the last 30 minutes was so hard i wanted to cry reduced to normal for the last boss. was easy....

on hard
always run out of ammo on the last 2 hours of the game.
elizabeth doesnt help
die a lot

but it was worth it on hard.

I have had to leave a lot of thins behind so far. Fro example, I have left 3 safes because I did not have enough lock picks, and couldn't find the codebook for the first cypher I found. Also, I missed the first key/box combination(though I did get it first time I played it...completely missed it the 2nd time)

Ohand

The fight just before you get on the gondalor to the airship was epic!...skylining all over the place, it was very fluid. The gameply is great.

Good to see easy is well........easy!

I'm playing on normal and starting to feel I should have selected hard. Even on medium there's maybe too much ammo and health.

Freaking love this game. Did anybody notice the music on the beach was "girls just wanna have fun"!? Guess since elizabeth was out for the 1st and enjoying being free it was quite apt.

Some of the random music selections are fantastic in this game :p

The tears obviously allowed for a bit of handpicking music from another age ;)

I got into the sound files and dug up some more tracks that aren't on the official soundtrack

Even after completing the game I can't stop thinking about it, what a weird experience this game provides.

Just got to the bit where you can play the guitar and Elizabeth sings :D Thought it was awesome.

:D glad you found that mate, lovely wee part of the game :)

It's great when you find a lot of the stuff through listening to the dialogue and making sure you look everywhere, very rewarding!

Enjoying it so far? ;)

Caved in and got it (£23.99). Hope it's good!

It's great value mate, with the additional games thrown into the bargain it makes it more of a steal tbh.
