Ordering soon help me decide mobo

if you like it, buy it, it's a good board, if you like me think it's over priced them buy something else, either way you will still have a great system tbh

I regularly see people say Asus boards are really good for memory stability and overclocking that's all. Also when looking at the specs of the sabertooth it offers nothing special for its price, doesn't have a proper sound chip for example or even reset buttoms for the CMOS on the mobo (just has standard jumpers).

i love asus, great board and support, very stable drivers and good bios updates, but others maybe are better value, but it's a judgement call if there better of worse, many here like Gigabyte boards as they OC good, not saying asus ones don't either as i have one as it overclocks very well, but a lot less money as well (Asus P8Z77-V LX Intel Z77)

so shake the dice, you will win with any board really with your spec

Great boards for the price, 2 are on a weekly offer. The Z77-D3H is out of stock however is an amazing board.

I see those D3H get recommended often on here, what's the difference between the Z77X and the normal Z77 one?

I'd definitely go with the Gigabyte for RMA's and great customer service. Asrock which I own, aren't the best, their boards are okay but others definitely outbeat them. I got my AMD asrock board as it was cheap and done everything I needed it too. But get the Gigabyte board by a longshot as it's on sale this week as well!

there was a few overheating issues at the start with the asrock boards, but all sorted now i hear, good for price, but first choice would be low spec asus first, then Gigabyte as everyone here seems to like them or use them in builds, not done many myself so can't really comment on them, all about the same for me nowdays tbh

Phoned up and had to edit order as the 680 didn't have Dual Link DVI output for my 144hz monitor. Went for the Sapphire 7970 Vapor-X GHZ Edition instead.
