LOL and Diaby is now out for 8-9mths after being injured in training :/

So Wenger maybe its high time you got rid of the permanent crock for good, he offers us nothing and plays what??? 5-6 games before hes injured again.

Seriously Wenger this summer, start selling these useless players we have that are currently sucking up wages and replace them with fitter and better players.

EDIT: And on another note, Arsenal are to sell Gervinho to Galatasaray for £12mill then make a move for Reina lol....absolute codswallop that is, god knows where these journalists get their stories from. I cant see why we would make a move for Reina:confused:

The renia bit is the confusing bit, i would have thought its saying 'sell, 12mil and gervinho' in the same sentence:p

Anyone surprised by the Wilshire injury is daft, the magic "back in 3 weeks" was said when he first got injured 3 weeks = Arsenal have misdiagnosed it, screwed it up and in 3 weeks you'll find out they made it worse and now don't know when he'll be back. 3 weeks just means, its more serious than a really minor issue like a muscle strain and therefore completely beyond Arsenal's medical team's capability.

Diaby, I'm only surprised he was available for as long as he has been this season, which is barely at all and utterly awful when he did play.

Arsenal are a joke, Wenger's a joke, Arsenal's medical staff is a complete joke.

Wenger needs firing, Diaby needs to be sued for fraud, our medical staff needs completely replacing by a new manager, and thats about it, we won't do anything useful or improve in any real sense till that happens.

I do agree he is like Anderson, he's one of those players who had one good game that one time, runs a lot, does nothing, zero end product and is actually useless but the fans randomly pin hope on him being brilliant due to lack of other quality options.

Diaby isn't a pretty damn good player, he's a poor shot, a poor passer, terrible defensively, he's half decent on the ball, but with zero end product. Can't have a lot of sympathy for a guy who has managed to be paid 40-60k a week over 5-6 years on little ability and not actually playing, just because his boss is a moron.

The number of even good games, let alone great ones, across his entire time at Arsenal is easily countable on one hand and most of those, 2 goals against Pompie, are against crap teams, followed by an own goal against Utd a game or two later. We'd have smashed Pompie without him, he's one of the main reasons we dropped points against Utd... that isn't a good player.

I'd love to see DM as Arsenal manager. He'd sell 70% of the squad and ask for £350 million for 15 players.

yes and no, 5 years ago I'd have sold 5 players, and barely had to buy anyone as players not given games were at the club who were vastly better than the guys we were playing. I still wouldn't spend that kind of money but would sell huge portions of the squad, largely because most of the youth squad is dead weight while 5 years ago that was a lot of promising talent.

Spending big on players is just bad business, I'd happily spend 50mil on someone like Ronaldo but cheap on anyone else.

Crap clubs continue to buy the latest fad players for WAY WAY WAY over the odd's every year while dozens of great players go stupid cheap every single transfer window.

The prem league was all over Milner, Downing, Barry, etc, and they end up going for huge fee's and are all but worthless, while every single season with no exception there is ALWAYS a Michu.

Two types of club really, those that buy the most talked about player for the most vastly inflated fee's for entirely no reason except fans like their clubs buying players who get talked about a lot, and those clubs that buy who is actually good and usually find them for massively better value.

One of the players of the season in La Liga last and this year, was Vela, we had him, we sold him for 3-4mil, we paid 12mil for Giroud. One club was buying who is actually good, for cheap, one club bought a one season wonder who was being talked about a lot for way more than he was worth.

Wenger used to be the guy selling a Giroud for 12mil and buying Vela for 4mil, I miss that Wenger badly.

Do me a favour DM.... Shut up

So Mr expert, what is it about Diaby that makes him pretty darn good exactly? His inability to tackle, inability to find the final ball, inability to score, inability to get his head up, or his inability to stay fit?

His best season was 6 goals and 3 assists, playing a very offensive midfield role, in 26 starts, and that season 4 of the goals were against Pompie, Hull and Birmingham. His only 2 goals the next season came against Blackpool as did one of his 3 assists. Sense a pattern at all, something that is so often apparent with pretty darn good players, can only perform against crap teams, teams that aren't remotely "premiership" quality, at all? Sure, all players, no matter how crap, will eventually get a goal against a Liverpool, or even an Arsenal in Diaby's case. But when he's crap in essentially every game against anyone that isn't relegation fodder(ignoring fluke seasons like Brum finishing top half), that isn't the sign of a pretty darn good player.

What about the year before that, goals against, Stoke, Newcastle(relegated that year) and Villa(less bad but they've been Arsenal's slap around team for the past decade).

Now, if Arsenal only ever had to play whoever was going to be relegated, and seemingly Everton and Villa... Diaby might just be the worlds best player... but in the premierleague, he's crap.

Hazard's in great form at the moment, he was outstanding v Wham last weekend and the same again for Belgium v Macedonia during the week, if he can keep it up for a few more weeks we might actually get 3rd/4th and nick a cup as he's now a constant influence on games whilst scoring some crackers too :)

Ah West Ham and Macedonia, you know you have a player on your hands when they excell against that level of opposition
