Essentially the mods are allowing the continued personal abuse of a girl for clearly factious reasons, now that may be a grey area in the law but it a very clear wrong in terms of principle. Pretending that she hasn't read this doesn't make this OK, any more than whispers in a playground.

Equally they could delete all the personal abuse as irrelevant, but they haven't. Tacit approval of group bullying IMO, where saying something solely intended to hurt has the same status as debate.

It's only a few months since some of you were going over the top with a female poster until someone pointed out what creeps you all were. Que some rapid tail hiding and a sudden reversal of attitude. It is not OK to abuse people, either to their face or hiding behind a keyboard.

It's called principle, where I can choose not to abuse someone (either as an expression of some suppressed hatred or just because of a low sense of worth).

There are lots of people in public life I don't really like, or in fact that I find ugly, but I choose not to talk about them on a public forum. That doesn't make me super saintly, it's just my idea of politeness.

I think you confused a principle with an attraction, sorry, I've no interest in her, but nice try all the same. Talking to teenagers stopped being interesting when I also stopped being a teenager

Interesting, because i think you may be taking this place too seriously and should probably realise that most of the people posting "abuse" are simply just trying to get a laugh from people. That is why i come on this forum...for a laugh.

Do you think every comedian that regularly takes the mickey out of people should keep quiet?

Every comedy panel show i have ever watched will be packed full of exactly what is happening on this forum. Do you want those banned/shut down as well?

Actually I think that it is this place that is taking it too seriously (I'm not the angry one here). Some girl has a boob job, she's probably not the classiest girl on the estate, she probably doesn't realise that she has been expertly turning into tabloid fodder, but this was a Doctors decision, if that Doctor is wrong then blame the Doctor - he is the professional here.

Where people are being OTT on this is that they have a frustration on a perceived NHS spending issue, they want to expend that frustration at a target but they are (wrongly) choosing to be abusive toward her face. Not about funding, or what poor classless people choose to do or how distorted our culture is - but on a girls face.

Re comedians, I think you must be thinking of "edgy comedy", which is the closest to this thread.
I can't say I like Frankie Boyle type jokes, I can see why some do because of the lemon sucking effect, but to me it lacks wit.

You didnt really answer my question anyway. Do you enjoy panel shows (Never Mind the Buzzcocks, 8 out of 10 cats, Have I Got News for You, Mock The Week e.t.c)? I am just wondering if it is ok with you for Jimmy Carr to take the mickey out of what someone looks like?

As an example, comedians often mercilessly take the mickey out of Susan Boyle and what she looks like. That should be banned according to you, yes?
