Ever found out someone is worth a hell of a lot more money that you would have expected? Post it here.

Examples:

Ant and Dec are worth £62 million. Each.

Jamie Oliver is worth over £150 million ($235 Million), only £10 million less than David Beckham.

Books, Jamie Oliver has had books in the bestsellers listing at Christmas for the past 10 years, a new book each year, bought by millions makes him loads and loads.

Ant&Dec for their talent.... There is no explaining what ITV will pay. Absolutely none.

Tom Hanks is worth $350 million. Yes, it's no surprise he's rich, but that rich? That puts him beyond actors like Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Will Smith, DiCaprio, etc.

Tom Hanks is also a producer or director, not just an actor.

They are all famous people with multiple irons in the fire, it shouldn't be surprising that they are wealthy.

Yeah, but their accountants tell them it's fine to do xyz and that abc is tax deductible so they do it. Later the tax man tells the the accountant was wrong and that's their problem, not the accountants.

It seems there are some starts who are worth loads and others who owe loads !

I have met and spoken to a fair few famous people (at least famous in the UK) and the majority are down to earth. You do get the odd diva but usually it is difficult to get close enough to chat to those ones.
