Can't say I'd want it done. Someone I knew from school had it done and said it felt like he'd been kicked there by a donkey for 3-4 days after and he still managed to get his wife pregnant about a year later anyway (assuming she wasn't cheating on him).

I've read/heard about the whole it not working and the tubes regrowing back together but it seems pretty few and far between.
The mrs did have the inplant but it didnt agree with her, she's on the needle in the buttcheek atm but shes gained a good stone since shes been on it :S

Hehe, but that was the main reason, we do not want further kids, and condoms are fine, but I'd rather not bother if I could avoid them.

I'm not sure that's totally accurate but worth checking. I just had to provide a clear sample 1 month, I think, after the op.
I was back at work the following day, no side affects at all. The worst bit was lying on the operating table with surgeon and couple of nurses commenting on what a good shaving job I'd done
I had it done about 4 yrs ago. The initial injection into the egg / area was immense pain. But it only lasted about 4 secs before the anesthesia kicked in. After that it was a bit of tugging here and there, a burning smell and a slight plume of smoke. Job done. 15mins max.
I honesty reckon my sex drive dropped about 10% after the surgery. Could be just me getting older though. (now 40) Mind you, i probably could have done with being kicked down a peg or two on the drive anyways. Couldn't have any how's your father for a couple of weeks. Also worth noting was the doc prescribed me on some serious pain killers percocet / oxycodone. Which kicked in after an hr or two, giving me a euphoric feeling. Maybe ask for some of those, to ease the after effects. I'm in the USA, so things may be different in the UK, in terms of what pain killers they give you?
Missus was always petite and slim, but the contraceptive pill gave her a little more weight. Maybe 5lb MAX. I like slim and petite, and her being even skinnier thanks to being off the pill, is a thumbs up from me.

My dad had it done after me and my sister were born some thirty years ago. Always says its one of the worst things he's done. Never asked why as it's not a conversation I want to have with him

Wow nice, let me ask you, have you ever had to get an abortion because you've already three kids, and as much as you'd like another you would never be able to afford it and had to go down that dark road in order to sustain a decent standard of living for the three you already have? No? didnt think so, which is my main reason for wanting it done. If you've nowt viable to contribute id reccomend keeping it zipped thanks.
mate of mine had it done, he now gets random excruciating shooting pains down there from time to time. Only happens once or twice a year he said but its so painful he can't move, talk, breathe etc... put me off ever having it done!

I had the tube up the penis, now thats fun. First they inject you with im guessing how it felt was a wasp travelling inside my penis. Then the doctor sends a camera up there, nearly fainted when i seen the size of it (nikon SLR) i was actually laughing at one point, when i peed all over the doctor.
Woah that made me feel a tad queasy!
Went to the doctor last week to be told that he was referring me to see a urologist and it would be highly likely that I would need a cystoscopy. I made the mistake of going home and doing some research. Suffice to say I am now scared ****less and have no doubt that "the little fella" will shrivel up and try to hide.
