Help me stop the obscenities.

With only a 100 foot garden he might be back in seconds, especially when he's hungry. :(

I would suggest locking it and putting sufficient food in there so that you can relax for a few days... But that's probably child abuse :p

Or maybe putting sufficient food in there would get around that issue? :D

Depends on the age I'm sure ;)

I think its still *technically* child abuse up until the age of 18 isnt it?

Also good use of your signature there :D I think it would be enhanced by adding the word 'thing' on the end. :p

There have been so many tangents on this thread... Laptops bought from the purple people, classic computer hardware, and now child abuse, as well as a few disagreements...

Each one - worryingly - has been caused by me :D

What would you do without me? :p

Drink more Beer... I don't think I could possibly manage that!!!! But I'll try anyway. ;)

I vow never to use the Purple People again..... miserable gits!!!!!

They tried to make me spend twice what I intended to spend when I went to buy my laptop you know. Telling me that I needed something more expensive to do what I wanted to do.

The salesman didn't like finding out that I knew better :D

It's probably his fault that my laptop keeps breaking. I bet he rigged it to break. Through spite :p

Just so he could get his little bonus from the insurance policy!!!!

Refuse to have the extended warranties!!!

Ah I know that little trick, but alas, I pay the £10 a month for cover on it. As it turns out, it has been very useful :p

I can work on laptops if I have to, but I find it so tedious that I would rather they do it... I don't use it much, and if it goes wrong again shortly afterwards, it can go back again. Doesn't bother me too much.

Try going into the store with the same parent company as KnowNothing and asking a guy with "PC Specialist" on his name tag for a SATA Cable >.>

Heheheheh.

I have already been in that store a few times to confuse them for my entertainment

It rather backfired on me when I found that I needed a job, and they were hiring :D

When asking what GPU the laptop I was looking at had in it, the salesman looked thoroughly confused and asked me what I meant. I then said "y'know, GPU, graphics processing unit" to which he responded "oh, you mean the graphics card?" and I said "I suppose you could call it that, but this particular line of laptops have graphics chips rather than dedicated MXM cards". Such fun :D

Yes I wanted a 2.5" HDD to USB preferably USB3.0 Dock. He took me to Laptops, then to cables, then around the entire store, at which point, I pointed out one, looked at it and was O.O at the £50 Price tag. The best bit is I looked on the site before hand and it was £25. I was going to ask if it had the wrong label, but asking those guys in there to perform a simple task is to much to ask.

The prices are just fantastic in there, I don't know what you mean :D

Sorry for filling your thread up with rubbish Smutley.

Have you had any more thoughts on the PC spec?

Don't worry about the thread filling, it's been highly entertaining. :)

I will enter into meaningful negotiations with him when he awakes.
