What are peoples thoughts on this?

My alloys look like this

I was thinking about refurbing them to black with a silver rim.

Not my car is black but the photos are not of my car.

Why is it a thread about black wheels seems to come up once a month these days?

End opinion: Black wheels look gash on 99.9999999% of vehicles.

I'm struggling to think of a car that could fit in the 0.0000001% of ones that look non gash tbh :p

Don't tire yourself out thinking. :p

Kinda hoping someone can do the work for me and prove me, and seemingly lots of others, wrong :P

sesto elemento is about all I can think of that comes close to being a reasonable look with black alloys.

Just has to be something unbelievably outlandish. I daresay something like a Zonda (in certain colours) would work too.

Any car with even a modicum of design restraint typically looks awful with black wheels.

An anthracite/gun metal type colour looks much better than black IMO if you want a change.

Black looks good on low volume sports cars only, and even then, only if kept clean and tyres constantly blackened.

It's up to you doesn't matter what other people think

I was very undecided which is why I posted, I was just looking for something to do to the car really. Maybe I will just get a proper detail done.

The alloys do need a refurb as I had a bit of an issue in the snow involving a curb and lots of spiting of the wheels.
