Whats after Haswell?

Hi what is after Haswell seeing how Haswell is just a refresh?

I think I read that Broadwell is next. Sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Broadwell on the 14nm process. Ivy Bridge is Tick, Haswell is Tock. Broadwell will be Tick, Skylake is the refinement (tock) of Broadwell.

Was there not a statement from intel that they would be moving their research and funding more towards mobile chips?

I think I've seen them mention 5nm, but I think after that we'll move onto something new (Graphene maybe?)

What are you running at the minute? I have a 3770k at 4.8GHz and I probably won't upgrade until Broadwell-E is released.

I just have a Maximus V Gene sitting around. In hindsight it may have been a better idea to wait until I had enough money for everything at once (which will probably be when Haswell comes out at this rate)

Haswell (22nm) -> Broadwell (14nm) -> Skylake (14nm) -> Skymount (10nm).

I'm personally waiting for Skymount (or unless AMD has something very competitive by then).

Haswell is a new microarchitecture, not a refresh.

not only the nm process but the speed that some materials can work.
"soon" they will move away from silicon.

They've been using DNA instead of silicon in some research.
