Morning clockers,
New guy to the forums,
I haven't had a pc since the days of the original OP Flashpoint which I had to run in the lowest of the low settings so I am a little behind the times, been on consoles ever since. Time to invest tho as I can't use a thumbstick for FPS games. I have a limited budget so want to get my best "bang for buck". I've always had ATI or AMD in my laptops and they have yet to fail me so I'm staying away from the intels for a couple of years. Nothing wrong wih them but the i5 3570k is out of my price bracket as it the 670 GTX. Next build will be with these or there current models.
My aim is to O/C these parts to a reasonabke standard and run games at high on 1080p. Not going to run dual monitors and won't be gaming all day and all night.
Please feel free to suggest different parts, etc etc
CPU - AMD fx 6300
GPU - 2GB 7850
MOBO - ASrock 970 Extreme4
COOLER - CM Evo 212
RAM - COrsair Vengence 8gb 1600MHz
PSU - Corsair CX600
CASE - Bitfenix Outlaw/Zalman Z11+
SDD - 64gb Vertex 4 (boot drive)
HDD - 1TB Barracuda
O/S - Windows 7 pro 64 (already own on a usb so no need for a Dvd drive)
Mouse - Logitech G400
Keybd - Logitech K120
Screen - ACER 21.5" VE series (purchased after build)
Prices are fluctuating between £590 - £620 at the moment (not inc O/S and screen). Anything thing you guys with experience could or would change.
I want it to last around 2-3 years, run ARMA 3 and BF4, AC well easily on High.
Think thats it, my main is t run the 6300 at around 4.2/4.4 Ghz, and then O/C the 7850 to run and higher clock speeds which I will determin at the time.
I have never built a pc before but have taken loads apart. So this will be fun
Sorry for any spelling mistakes I tpying using my iPad and I have sausage fingers.
