Decent 'claw' mouse?

Hi guys,

I was hoping someone might be able to recommend me a new mouse. I've worked my way through a number of Razers over the years (copperhead and deathadder) and they all break after a year or so, double clicks with a single click or non-registering clicks. The build quality just seems to be pants...

Any chance anyone knows of a decent 'claw' grip mouse that has easy to reach side buttons which isn't a Razer mouse?

I just tried a Logitech G500 (which is a palm grip I know), and it's horrible for my hand. Stretching too much for the side buttons with my thumb, and it's making my hands sweatier than a fat man in a sauna.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I don't get on with palm grip mice either, I've used a Copperhead in the past and at the moment I'm using a SteelSeries Sensei RAW Rubberised which as far as comfort goes I can recommend, I've not had it long enough to comment on it's longevity though, Zowie mice are a similar shape to Steelseries mice too. One difference between the Copperhead and the Sensei is that when using the Copperhead I hold the translucent rubber grip above the side switches, but when using the Sensei I hold just below the side switches. The side switches on the Sensei are also easier to use because of the slightly different ergonomics.

Spawn with it's forever beta firmware if you can live with high lod / tape fixes.

People should stop buying g500's though. Why bother when the g400 is a better mouse and almost half the price?

Just looking at the Zowie's now as the rubber Sensei mouse is out of stock (any shop chap have an idea when they will be back in?) and significantly more expensive at other places. What's the difference between the Zowie EC1 and EC2 eVo's?
