Biggest let down in my opinion was Borderlands 2, played about an hour and just got bored! Just can't get into it like the first one.
Biggest ones:
Far Cry 3: Got a new SSD, forgot to backup save-files.
GTA 4: Got stuck on the 2nd to last mission where you chase the boat in a helicopter.
Dishonored: The awful save system just put me off every time I died it would take me really far back.. Might give it a go though and save every 5mins once I've broken my DayZ addiction!
Alan Wake: lasted about 2 hours, to boring and depressing. Deleted.
Batman AC: found the atmosphere depressing and far to many diversions, I got to the stage where I did`nt know what I was doing nor cared. Deleted.
Witcher 2: just could`nt get into this at all. Deleted.
Skyrim: to slow and far to much time in all the menus. Deleted.
Metro 2033: finding it tough going but still go back to it every so often.
Diablo: lasted all of 5 minutes and called it a day. Deleted.
Bioshock: had a go at this but eventually got bored with it. Deleted.
Saints Row 2: biggest load of crap I have ever installed, only tried it as it came in the THQ bundle at Christmas. Got as far as the hospital scene. Dialogue and graphics were atrocious.
There are a few more games I have tried and given up on for various reasons, but I don`t want to bore you any further.
Bioshock - Tried to play through 1 and 2 before infinite came out. Got about 4 hours into the first one, wasn't really enjoying it. Deleted.
Batman AA - Bought the Batman pack last summer as part of the Steam sale. Got about 3 hours in, had no idea what was going on anymore, and didn't really want to know. Deleted.
Dishonored: The awful save system just put me off every time I died it would take me really far back.. Might give it a go though and save every 5mins once I've broken my DayZ addiction!
Guild Wars 2 was promised the MMO epiphany got the same old same old.
SWTOR - fondly remembered SWG but walked out into stationary mobs grouped together in a confined zone.
Mass Effect 3 - Loved 1 and 2 but just couldn't get into it felt really restricted and cramped and just like an on the rails shooter.
Mass Effect 1. For some reason, despite being brought up on strong story based gaming (D&D / AD&D / gamebooks), when its brought to computer gaming I sometimes find it hard to get into. Perhaps this is why I long to get into rpg's but usually don't manage to. I've tried at least three times to get into ME, but I didn't enjoy the combat mechanics and the story just didn't grab me much at all. ME2, however, I did quite enjoy.
Mass Effect 1 as it bored me pretty quickly at the beginning and it became a chore to go through so put it down.
Metro 2033. Got stuck basically
Borderlands. I was playing through with my brother then we found we couldn't game at same time anymore so we stopped playing and I left the game alone from then on.
Dragon Age Origins another one I simply could not get into. Just could not keep my interest. Odd really as I normally like those sort of games.
I really enjoyed Metro 2033, and as someone who doesn't generally like FPS games, that's big praise.
However I reached a point in the game where you suddenly have to run through a small town when the guards start chasing you. It's a scripted on-rails type event and after about 20+ tries I still couldn't get past it.
It annoyed the living hell out of me and completely spoiled the game
Dishonoured - Awesome game, got quite a way through it, then just stopped, and just can't get back in to, might attempt to give it another try tonight.
