
It's not too much of an issue if you have a PSU which 'isnt the best' but is still solid (like an FSP for example)

Ive got a 350W FSP PSU in my mothers machine that has been working away quite happily for about 3 years
its only got an matx mobo, an i3 processor and an ssd on it![]()

And that applies to HIPPER psu's, particularly one model, who model eludes me, but I had two, both caught fire.

Looking for a micro atx power supply for my HTPC. Problem is, all I can find is CIT PSU's.
Can anyone suggest a good micro atx power supply, 450w or more?
I've opened it BTW and mounted Zener diode to make FAN quieter, so customer is still very happy. If he decided to upgrade, I'd never leave him with that PSU
