7950, 13.3 beta Drivers

Not had that problem no, had a few other problems, did you use driver fusion to remove all your drivers first?

No driver fusion is a seperate program you download, it will scan and remove all the old video drivers on your computers. Stops a lot of bugs ya get with installing over old drivers. Try that first and see if it stops your crashes.

Go back to the latest stable release drivers and see if you are stable again.
Could be some other problem and just coincidence?

No ya dont need full version, i just run it once, restart, run it again, then restart and reinstall drivers

Go back to the last stable drivers for you in 13.3 aint working, try the last certified ones.

done all that and the screen flicker is back gone back to 13.1 drivers some games are working OK , the only other thing I have done this week is add new thermal compound to my GPU can that do thing like this.

Try a different output on the card to make sure you haven't damaged anything, maybe you botched the the paste/assembly too and it's overheating, use gpu-z to log temps to check, even if it black screens, press the power button for a few seconds(not a hold in press-until it hard closes down)to shut down the PC and restart and check the log.

When ya get the drivers working properly these cards are great..just takes a little messing sumtimes, also most the people having problems with drivers seem to be using beta drivers, cant really complain too much if ya testing betas and stuff starts going wrong.

Yeah that's a fair point about the beta drivers.
