I'm looking for some input for to buy a new graphics card 250-300 to go with an i5 3570k cpu (Asus V PRO motherboard aswell)

Newer games will be Rome, Elder Scrolls Online mainly amongst other older titles.

So far im ton between the EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2G and the XFX HD7950.

Which one of them two is the better or can someone recommend something better in the price range? Thanks very much!

Don't get the XFX HD 7950, the cooler isn't particularly good.

The best you can get for sub £300 is an HD 7970, although I'm not sure OCUK sells any new models at that price point.

Both cards are great cards and are on par. The only downside to the 670 is the price, it's a hell of a lot more. 7950 would be the better choice, 7970 if you can stretch the extra £30. Otherwise, there is a Grade-B 7970 which I guarantee you will be gone with 12 hours if you don't get it.

That's a nice price on a 7970.

What does B Grade mean on here? Refurbished OEM? Or just 'ex display' but as new?

Dunno but the B Grade HDD I bought from here was a refurb as came stamped with 'CERTIFIED REPAIRED HDD', wish they'd indicate on the description why its B Grade as I kinda fancy the 7970 but can't take a punt on where its been or who has fiddled with it for something that expensive, doesn't matter so much with a HDD.
