But a fine high-end system like this would be wasted on a VGA monitor. You should DEFINITELY get a decent monitor, since that's what you would be really starring at day in day out.

If in doubt, make a poll and explain your situation and see how people vote. With the power of the system, it would be ideal to get something like a 120Hz monitor.
