wouldnt he just be second fiddle at Bayern given their attacking options etc? Or is Gomez likely to be off etc
Nah Lewandowski would instantly be Bayern's first choice

Not sure about that, Mandzukic has been excellent.
thats what i was thinking, and with gotze,ribery,robben,muller etc all out wide, they will only play 1 upfront etc.

I'm assuming Gotze mean one of Ribery/Robben going, personally I'd take Robben every time, he was brilliant last night, Ribery was better than usual but no where near as good. Ribery played in most of the matches I've seen of them this season and has been pretty crap in most of them.
If they buy a striker as well I would think Gomez's time is up, Mandzukic has been beyond excellent upfront for them but as much for workrate than actual goal scoring. Having two top strikers isn't a huge issue, Muller/Robben/Gotze/mandzukic/Lewandowski would be a 5 players for 3 positions, which is basically what they have now. More than enough games with getting to champs league semi's and domestic cup finals most seasons.
Still OTT, they could stick with Gomez and not spend the money and not have an issue, its a bit "championship manager... add rich owner" option way of running a club. Seems like spending for the sake of spending like Real did for so long.
