Hi,

Just set this up!

Tested battlefield 3 I'm getting 140-180fps on max settings.

Crysis 3 about 25-30fps? Crossfire'd.

Is there a cap profile or something I need?

What screen size and what anti-aliasing are you using?

Crysis 3 performance is known to tank when it comes to using the higher types of anti-aliasing although I would have thought that a pair of 7970s would be able to handle it.

If you have it fully maxed out those frame rates seem about right unfortunately.

Don't know if it's a case of yet another poorly coded crysis game or if the engine is just that demanding.

Lower AA and the likes you should see big performance gains without losing much eye candy.

Totally maxing Crysis 3 on mine with 4 Titans @1600p gives about 60 min, 80 avg and 100 max, it takes a lot of GPU grunt to get reasonable fps. It also uses 3.5gbs of vram at the above resolution.

This is what I am using

Using the above I don't need to run my CPU above 4.0ghz

Screen size is 1080p 120hz

Was fully Maxing it out as I really thought it should breeze this game!

Will mess about with the AA and see how it runs.

Im getting a min of 40fps with a single 7970 on 120hz 1080p, looks as if xfire is not working, might be worth disabling xfire and see what happens

I've not played Crysis 3 yet, other than 10 mins at the start...i think i was getting 60+fps with everything turned up to 11 using CF7970s @1080.

If you give me a couple of hours to put my rig back together i can run tests using both single card, CF and tri-fire. Pretty sure i have it installed on one of my SSDs.
