My PC currently has an 8800GTS, it's very old and very loud and now I want to replace it.

Not sure if it matters but the CPU is an i3 3220 running with 8GB DDR3.

I don't game at all and the graphics card will be use purely for movies in full HD.

I really want to spend as little as possible, so just looking for something to get the job done really.

Can anyone suggest anything?

Thanks

your i3's onboard gpu has more than enough grunt for hd playback - you should need a card at all. Assuming the motherboard has video outputs, of course.

Ah, I wasn't aware of this. So I can just take out the 8800GTS then and plug directly into the onboard? Where would I get the graphics drivers from? Bit confusing as it's directly on the CPU.

Cheers
