anybody played? worth it? would like to give a go coop!

The original game is underrated IMO, it has some great set piece fights in the street like something out of Heat, and I quite like the team orders. I'm a bit of a sucker for games with AI teammates though.

2nd game is dumbed down quite a lot with less control over teammates.

Originally released in late 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been one of Bethesda's most acclaimed titles in a back catalogue chock full of critical hits. It has also stubbornly resisted the temptation of a cut-throat Steam Sale price over the years, if nothing else a mark of its continued popularity.

Last week Bethesda announced that there would be no more DLC for Skyrim as they focus their attention on new projects. Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn will therefore be the only official content updates to the game, although it remains a vibrant platform for modders; thankfully this means Game Of The Year Edition time!

In a post on their official Blog, Bethesda have stated at a new Legendary Edition will be released in June. The edition will feature the original game and all three DLC releases on the disc, with the 1.9 update incorporated into the installation by default - that's the most recently released update, so one shouldn't expect any new bug-fixes with this version. Those who already have the original game but none of the DLC should be able to use this version with their current saves relatively seamlessly, and of course the installation will still require Steam.

The price is pegged at $59.99 in the US for PC, PS3 and XBOX360, which is perhaps a little more steep than most previous GotY title releases. The EU/UK pricing is £29.99/€39.99 for PC, and the release date will be slightly after the US - June 7th rather than June 4th. If you've been itching to get into Skyrim with its associated DLC this may be your best chance.

Loved it, one of my favourite city builders.

Same, if it is your type of game theonejat then you'll enjoy it. See You Tube or play the demo to see how you like it before purchasing.

I agree with BuToNz though, I definitely prefer the 1404 setting, just wished it was still forsale on Steam. :(

mmm, I picked up GTA 3, San Andreas and Vice City this morning for £8.49. Been waiting for a while for them to appear in a sale, seems perfect for a little bit of procrastinating while working on my ethics application :)
