Hi everyone.

Spoken to OCUK via webnote about the new PC I'm looking to buy. I want a new system for simulations such as FSX, DCS Huey and TS2013. I want a good platform but something with lots of space for future upgrades. I have around £1200 to spend and so far I've chosen either:

or

Any idea of which is better? Or what else I could go for? No idea on what's best for my money!

Thanks and sorry if this is a thread much like a million others!

Sam.

Using that you'd build it yourself, you can alternatively get a prebuilt system (usually costs a bit more as they're building it etc)

The lightning comes with locked CPU so you can't overclock it and no ssd

The titan you can customise to use the 7950 windforce 3x, w7 home, 120GB SSD as primary and 1TB as secondary, this comes with unlocked CPU so you can overclock, a non-stock heatsink.

If you could though I'd suggest to build it yourself saves money and can get the specifics you want.

Yeah I could build it myself, was more concerned with the warranty that comes with getting a prebuilt system though, I should be able to manage but I'd hate to do something wrong.

The build I specced was to give you some idea as to what you could actually get for your money. As soon as you start paying someone to build it for you, then the build quality dips, to keep in line with your budget.
