Not played any COD games either. Are any of them decent single player games?

I have enjoyed most the single player camps of CoD, however they are generally stupidly short so certainly won't justify buying the game... they almost just feel like 'training' for the MP modes where the real game starts. I tend to get them more for the spec ops/zombies to play with mates.

Yet another milking of the boring COD franchise then. No doubt will be exactly the same as all the others but morons will buy it in their droves anyway

The franchise that has bored a generation of gamers returns in Call of Duty: Ghosts

Developed by Infinity Ward, creators of the original Call of Duty and the repetitive Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to be exactly the same again as it ushers in nothing new at all to the legendary first person shooter series. Call of Duty: Ghosts will deliver an identical gameplay experience, armed with a new story, setting and cast and powered by a new but probably exactly the same Call of Duty engine.

Lock, load and preorder Call of Duty: Ghosts today! Or just don't bother because it will be exactly the same as the last 3 games.

so many trolls yet theyll pay 80 quid for bf4 with premium :p

There is a difference between invensting in a notoriously bad franchise, and investing in a franchise that continues to deliver.

Also, £80? You're talking out your arse.

Source.

Probably will end up costing that much or more with all the DLC.

BF3 was like £44.99 and then 4 DLC at 14.99 = £95

Well yes if you buy a game a year or two after it is released and in a sale obviously it will cost less...

If you buy a game on release at full price, and then buy every DLC released for that game at full price, of course it's going to cost a stupid amount.

People complain that games cost a lot, when they're buying them at full price.

I didnt buy it at full price... But I was just saying how much it would cost if you bought the game and then each DLC as it was released.

As stated in the other thread, with a new engine and destructible environments it's peaked my interest in hopes that they do something a bit different. I bought MW, MW2 and Black Ops but skipped MW3 and Black Ops 2, because I knew they were going to be the same old game as usual. I'm not one who buys into hype, I look at the facts, and it was easy to see that MW3 and BO2 were just going to be the same old CoD as before, if you got stung by the hype train you have yourself to blame for your buyers remorse.

The fact is CoD is a fun game, people were just bored and fed up with it being the same engine, the same graphics, the same everything, just different maps and gun skins. This is offering us at least one of the things (Engine) and if it's being released on xbox720 & PS4 they would be stupid to not improve the graphics too, which is 2 things which CoD needed to not just be another rehashed game and to bring some life back into the series.

Bashing the game now is stupid, no-one knows anything about it, once we see some gameplay and it looks the same old crap, then feel free to bash, but lets not moan and whine about the game before you even know anything about it.

I think that as it is being released on xbox 360 and PS3 that it will be very similar to current offerings... However I did enjoy some of the COD games and I look forward to when they make it for PS4 xbox 720 and hopefully some new gameplay.. Since MW it has gone downhill imo.

I was embarrassingly a massive MW2 fanboy back in the day since then though noother COD game has really impressed me MW3 was a massive letdown, zombies in Black OPS was OK but yet again they seemed to a killed zombies with black ops 2.
