*** League of Legends ***

...I need to play in ranked but my lack of jungle character or mid really puts me off. If there are any in bronze who understand the game ie map awareness etc who can play jungle in the character list doesn't rage then I would love to partner up with them.

I'm bronze, rage free and my skills are highly questionable, but tend to jungle ranked whenever I am on. Just give me a shout if you fancy a duo queue :)

In other news, has anyone seen the leaked pics of Lucian, the Gun Templar? Looks absolutely beast and may be my first day 1 buy :D

Although you could argue LOL came from RTS roots with WC3 you don't need to have any experience in an RTS to play it. There is no resource gathering (unless you count gold as gathering). Just items. More akin to an MMO in character building IMHO.

Just download it and try it :) First page of the this thread gives various tips on the game

Is this game impossible to play if you've never played a RTS before?

I dont think lol can be compared to an rts what so ever. They are competely different, lol is a moba (multiplayer online battle arena). Very different to something like starcraft etc :)

As a history lesson Dota was a mod for the rts warcraft 3.but that's about as close as it gets it doesn't resemble an rts in any way.Tom what makes you think you need to know rts games

Is there a tutorial mode? Just downloading it now. :)

Yes you have a tutorial which is quite basic, co-op mode and you can create custom games to just get a feel for the game. The leveling also means you can jump into an mp game and play against New players and smurfs (players shook have created another account)

Yes but it's awful, however the battle training it offers you afterwards is pretty decent. There's also AI you can play against with other players while you learn the ropes. I'd advise getting into your first real player match by at least level 5 though or you'll learn some awful habits :)
