Guys, as per another thread I opened last week, I have some cash burning a hole in my pocket and the GPU is my first priority. I am almost certain it will be one of the 7950's (no fanboy either) however with the imminent release of the next series of nVidia cards, is it safe to say it will impact the AMD price range too? Or should I just man up and buy now :p

I'm personaly waiting, never know you might get a good deal on an N=vidia card, old model (GTX6**) or new

the waiting game never really works unless a new product is right on the time you buying.

id go for a 7950 now tbh. a 670 gtx is never gunna drop that much they ll probably just become eol. also the 7950 oc is about the same or little faster any way now.

get it now. The new Nvidia cards are just rebrands and will give 5-15% better performance if that.... The 7950 is in a perfect price point.

if you need more speed in games then get the 7950 now and wait to see what the 8000's are like at the end of the year
