WTF! Bear Eats Monkey at Bike Race

Meanwhile 50 monkeys were eaten by bears on the African sahara every day, but nobody cares. It's only when there is a bit of human negligence envolved then everyone is up in arms about cruelty.

Its just nature.

Yeah but thats just nature, survival of the fittest, but putting two animals together in a circus under situations were they are constantly tortured and put through pain to perform is just wrong.

Nobody is shocked or offended by the bear attacking the monkey..Its the spectacle people are taking issue with. Putting animals in that position for the entertainment of people.

Its not nature that a monkey would be riding a bicycle too close to the bear who is coming up behind...also riding a bicycle..and gets attacked after the collide. That is not a natural situation.

Its perfectly natural IMO. It's just like the bear was chasing the monkey through the woods as in nature, except they are riding bikes instead.

Nowhere near as bad as keeping bears caged with permanent holes in the abdomens to milk them for bile. ******* Chinese ******* ****. **** China.

I agree that is horrific.

But you are a stereotypical, uneducated, ignorant piece of trash.

You may like to know of the things british institutions do to animals.

Not to mention how only a short time ago british fox hunting was still rampant.

p.s. my girlfriend in from China and your comments deeply offend me. I agree it isn't the nicest country in the world. But to brand an entire country and its one billion+ people with the same brush shows what an intolerant person you must be.

The incident happened at the annual 'Wild Animal Olympics' at an animal park in Shanghai and though costumed zoo staff attempted to beat the bear off

I had to stop reading there. Sickening depravity.

Thank you James24, saved me typing the same thing. My gf is also from china and if she was there she would have got up and walked out in disgust. Attitudes to animals are changing drastically in China.

Food is plentiful in China now so there's no need to eat the more exotic kinds of food that ignorant tosspots like the one you quote still think everyone in China eats. Some people still think China is still stuck in the 1950's Cultural Revolution when some parts of China would put cities north of Birmingham to shame.

Monkeys and bears in the Sahara? That would be a very interesting spectacle. Presumably they would have travelled there riding on their bicycles.
