Although I did have to look up the definitions of modal, gerund, imperative, subjunctive, modifier and participle. Blame the Scottish education system; I have never been taught those words.
I think foreigners with really good grasp of English would do better then most locals. For example I have no idea about the rules with putting sentences together. I just do it based on how "correct" it sounds to me. But someone who knows the actual rules would do better in this test
