Looking at moving bank accounts as mine Coop/Smile has a utterly shocking web interface.

So looking for a new account which offers the best online side.

Thanks

As is Barclays. It never used to be good but they have a brilliant portal now and everything is swish. I used to avoid logging in do do online banking but now it's an eye pleasing experience.

Natwest is miles ahead of Co-op but they lack the ability to search statements by payment type or amount, something I'm sure I could do on LloydsTSB several years ago.

I use HSBC for my current account, savings and ISA and together using internet banking it's brilliant.

Just hate the whole security pad thingy that i need to log on. However they have an iPhone app if you need to check balance and recent statement.

Natwest's online banking is fantastic, as is their windows phone app - get cash is useful!

Citibank have a good online interface, but no smartphone apps, their phone banking is excellent though - whenever I've needed to contact them about anything the service I've received has been fantastic, even at 3 AM!

Nat west and metro bank I have used and natwests is so much better than metrobanks .

It functions but very very basic

I was going to recommend Co-Op/Smile as I've used it for years without an issue. What's your beef with it?

There is no beef with it as such I just find its not very modern and in keeping with the digital age.

Not being able to download statements to CSV is a big one, no statements online after 12 months is also rubbish. The excuse they gave me was would take up too much disk space.

Their mobile app is utterly rubbish, you can see the latest few transactions but not what DD's you have setup, you can't do anything on it.
