Oven Imploded: Just the right moment.

Hey guys, bad things happen when pcs get built...

I think the pc gods want blood: My oven imploded and sent fast moving glass in my direction just as I was putting the mobo in! It's a cheap internet/word machine for my parents.

It mustve been a fault in the front glass. The implosion band is gone and my oven is now non functional. I nearly laid a brick in my pants when it went off! :eek:

So is this a dead cert on cheap ovens? Or is it to do with it heating up too quickly?

Implodes due to a vacuum and the glass shatters out.
